Sumatra pdf является одной из лучших на данный момент программ - "Читалок". Пусть в ней и нет специализированных встроенных функций, наподобие распознавания текста с изображения, зато она прекрасно справляется со своими основными задачами - чтением и печатью файлов в формате "цифровой книги". Ограничений по форматам практически нет - Sumatra PDF справляется как с PDF и DjVu, так и с XPS и MOBI. Софтинка полностью бесплатная, к тому же, имеет открытый код - исходник, что позволяет при наличии должных навыков, модифицировать программу на свой вкус. Что же, помимо лицензии GNU GPL, отличает ее от своих "собратьев"?
Во-первых, очень приятный ненавязчивый и аккуратный интерфейс, не содержащий ничего, что могло бы бросаться Вам в глаза и отвлекать от процесса чтения.
Во-вторых, корректная масштабировка изображений (Чего нет в Acrobat'е и Adobe), в - третьих... Да что уж там, разработчики подошли к своей цели вполне радикально: Простота и удобство. Быстрая загрузка, быстрая обработка файлов, возможность копирования текста, портативная версия программы и меню на 60 языках - все это говорит само за себя.
